KMAT 2019 

Candidates appearing for KMAT must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in commerce, Management, Arts, Social Science, Engineering or equivalent from any recognised institution.

  • They must have secured at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) in the aggregate and candidates in the final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible.
  • Candidates of age 20 and above are eleigible.
  • Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in KMAT.
  • Candidates must have studied maths at 10+2 level or at graduation level.
  • Candidates appearing for KMAT must get the minimum score to qualify the exam.

KMAT Syllabus

Verbal Reasoning and Reading skills– Grammar, sentence completion, antonyms, para jumble, idioms, phrases, language skills, vocabulary, comprehension of passages, fill in the blanks, understanding of passages, expressions, choice of appropriate words, analogies, critical reasoning, noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb and other parts of speech

Quantitative ability– Numerical calculations, algebra, trigonometry, common graphs and charts, number system, ratio and proportion, percentage, arithmetic problems, geometry, interpretation of tables, quantitative reasoning, modern mathematics, time and speed, interest, complex numbers, inequalities, permutation and combination.  

Logical Reasoning– Family tree, puzzles, data arrangement, venn diagram, statement- conclusion, numeric grid, strong arguments and weak arguments, assumptions, syllogisms, binary logic, blood relations, series, conclusion, logical sequence.
